There are multiple addresses used as identity of a computer over network. Maximum of these addresses change as system or related device reboots. Among all these MAC address is the permanent one which retain its original value even computer is restarted.
There are multiple ways to check MAC address of a computer or laptop but the most reliable one is CMD.
- CMD command used for this purpose is "GETMAC".
- This will provide a list of MAC Addresses.
- Number of MAC Addresses depend on number installed network devices.
- Every network device must have its own MAC Address.
