Add OEM Information to Windows

When a new Windows is installed on PC, no OEM information is added. OEM information give a brief description of PC manufacturer.

To add OEM Information to Windows PC follow the following steps.
No extra software is required, we will only use Registry Editor.

Step 1 :

Create a logo if you want to add logo.

Logo must be Bitmap (.bmp).

Step 2 :

Open Registry Editor.

Step 3 :

Open the following folder using left panel.

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SOFTWARE/Microsoft/Windows/CurrentVersion/OEM Information
If OEM Information is not present create it.

Step 4 :

Add OEM properties here by creating String Values for each property.

String Values are:

• Manufacturer
• Logo
• Model
• SupportPhone
• SupportHours
• SupportURL

Step 5 :

Modify values of recently created String Values to desired values.

Manufacturer --- Manufacturer name

Logo --- Address of logo.

Model --- Model number

SupportPhone --- Contact number

SupportHours --- Time at which you will be avilable

SupportURL --- Web Address

Step 6 :

Restart Computer.

Result :

After restarting computer you will find OEM Information in system properties as specified by you.
