Hide / Unhide Disk Drives without using Software

Disk drives are used for data storage. These drives are accessible by everyone who has access to the computer. But sometime data is critical and must be hidden from other users.

For this purpose disk drives can be hided using the following steps.

Step 1 :

Open Disk Management.

Step 2 :

Right Click on desired drive.

Step 3 :

Press Change drive letter and paths...

A box will appear.

Step 4 :

Hide :

Press Remove button.

Unhide :

Press Add button.

Result :

Disk will hide / unhide as you want.

Note :

Administrator password will be required if not on admin account.
