Remote Control Computer using Gmail

Gmail is the most widely used email service among all other email services. Along with email service Gmail also provide some other services like Remote Control Computer.

To remotely control computer from another Google has introduced an app named Chrome Remote Desktop which should be installed in Google Chrome that has the capability to remotely control computer over internet.
In this tutorial I will show you how to use Chrome Remote Desktop.

Configuration:

Step 1 :

Install Chrome Remote Desktop in Google Chrome which is available at Chrome Web Store.

Step 2 :

Open Chrome Remote Desktop.
Gmail Log In page will be displayed.

Step 3 :

Provide required gmail credentials so that gmail should be successfully connected.

Step 4 :

Press Enable Remote Connection in the app to enable remote control for specified computer.

Step 5 :

An app will be downloaded, install that.

Step 6 :

PIN specification box will be displayed in which a new PIN code will be defined for specified computer.

Note: Apply these steps on all computers which are involved in the remote control process.

Operation:

Step 1 :

On controller side open Chrome Remote Desktop.

Step 2 :

Click on the desired computer name which you want to control remotely.

Step 3 :

Enter PIN code for the desired computer in the PIN prompt box.

Result :

Remote control will be started successfully.
