Create Image File from CD / DVD

Windows installation directly from CD or DVD is slow. To speed up windows installation use USB instead of CD / DVD.
For this purpose USB must be booted with windows installation setup which will work as a CD for you.
Below is the step by step method in which Image File is created from CD / DVD  which is used for booting USB.

Step 1 :

First of all install a booting software.
In this method I have used Power ISO.

Step 2 :

Insert the setup CD / DVD in the CD / DVD drive.

Step 3 :

Right Click (Mouse) on the CD / DVD drive.
A drop down menu will appear.

Step 4 :

Press Power ISO and then Mount in the drop down menus consequently.
A dialog box will appear.

Step 5 :

Specify target folder for the Image File in which it should be placed.

Step 6 :

Specify the extension for the required Image File.

Step 7 :

Press OK
Image File creation will be sttarted.

Result :

Image File will be created and placed in the folder specified by you.
